Torny's Golf List - About Us
Torny's Golf List is an operating division of Longacre Golf Services Pty Ltd, a company registered in Victoria, Australia. We operate from our retail outlet in Rosebud on the Mornington Peninsula in Victoria.
We have been operating in Australia for over seven years and have provided an inventory clearance service for nearly forty Pro Shops and other retail outlets across Australia. We also have access to a range of imported wholesale specials of top quality equipment from our wholesalers in USA where the wholesale market offers price specials that are seldom offered in the Australian market. In recent years we have also offered individuals a consignment sales service which has become popular when the local Pro Shop does not accept trade-ins.
We are committed to provision of quality equipment, offered at real discount prices and supported by the best possible service to our customers.
Product Authenticity
We are also committed to the protection of authenticity in golf equipment in the face of the publicity that counterfeit, cloned, and "fake" golf equipment is circulating in the golf market.
Most major manufacturers in the Golf industry take the time and expense to mark their equipment with serial numbers so that buyers can verify authenticity. The process of adding a serial number to a hosel or shaft is expensive, but does allow buyers to establish that a piece of equipment is an authentic product.
Because of the expense involved, some manufacturers elect not to add identifying marks. It is important for our customers to know this. The fact that a piece of equipment does not have a serial number does not necessarily mean that it is a counterfeit or non-genuine item.
